AmberSoft was founded in 1993 and started off developing software based simulators and Man-Machine Interfaces for the power industry. In 1997, we diversified into Document Imaging and Management and scored a major coup when Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) appointed us to implement their document management system.
From here, we embarked on developing our own Document Management product catering to the unique Asian market and the FingerTips product range was the result of this initiative. AmberSoft launched the FingerTips Document Management Suite in 2001 and it is currently the market leader in Malaysia with implementations in Local Councils, Banks, Government Agencies, Insurance & Engineering companies and fast expanding into the region.

2005,
▪ Launched SIMS (Substation Monitoring System) powered by FingerTips & marketed thru InControl Tech in S.E.A.
▪ Launch Voice Archive Server to store & search voice recordings.
▪ Awarded 64bit certification by HP.
▪ Konica Minolta Co-Branding Partnership to market FingerTips bundled with their Multi-Function Machines.
2006,
▪ Released FingerTips for RFID in partnership with MyRFID.
▪ Launched vertical product for Legal firms called Legal Case Manager.
2007,
▪ Distributor for Variable Data Printing Solution:
PrintShop Mail and PlanetPress Suite.
2008,
▪ Launch of FingerTips version 7.0 with new functions, features, powerful searchable Pdf converter and Vista ready.
▪ Released SIMS v3.0 for Substation Monitoring system.
▪ Appointed Malaysia Venture Capital Association MVCA2008 Technology provider.
